
Poco Way
The complex, located in San Jose, California, comprises 22 two- and three-story buildings. At a project cost of just over $16 million, Poco Way Apartments now features 130 rehabilitated residential units—and a fresh new community center.
The project included the phased vacating of four buildings at a time and a compete demolition to the studs followed by a complete rebuild. The rebuild included all existing electrical, HVAC, and sewer waste lines. Furthermore, full seismic and structural upgrades were followed by a full energy envelop upgrade including all new exteriors and high-performance window systems.
